Ben 10: Generator Rex - Heroes United is a 90-minute animated television movie that aired in 2011. The episode is a crossover between the Ben 10: Alien Force series and the Generator Rex series. The story takes place after the events of the Ben 10: Alien Force episode "The Return of High Override" and brings together Ben Tennyson, Kevin Martin, and Gwen Tennyson from the Ben 10 universe with Generator Rex, a teenage boy from the planet Mdexa who has the ability to control and manipulate nanotechnology.

In the episode, Ben, Kevin, and Gwen are on a mission to stop an alien threat when they stumble upon Rex, who is fighting against robotic creatures known as the "Viral". The Viral are infecting machines and turning them into destructive robots. The heroes soon discover that the alien threat they were tracking is connected to the Viral and that they must work together to stop a powerful villain known as the "Nanite Overlord".
