The protagonist is (23), a trauma counselor who was an infant during the first Freddy vs. Jason . She is the “Dreamer”—the only person born in Springwood after Freddy’s original death. Unknown to her, her subconscious is untainted by fear of him. That makes her Freddy’s perfect gateway back into the real world.
