Jid Drum Kit Now

The "J.I.D Drum Kit" was born. Crafted by Questlove and his team, the kit was a masterpiece of modern drumming, featuring a sleek, compact design and a range of innovative features. There were samples and loops built in, allowing J.I.D to trigger beats and sounds with the touch of a button. There were also custom cymbals and drumheads, designed to produce a unique, punchy sound.

One night, after a particularly energetic performance, J.I.D approached his DJ and producer, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, with an idea. "Yo, Quest, I want to take my drums to the stage," he said, his eyes shining with excitement. "I want to play my own drums, feel the rush of creating music in the moment."

Questlove, a legendary drummer himself, was intrigued. He started digging through J.I.D's music, searching for the perfect drum sounds to bring his vision to life. And then, it hit him - a customized drum kit that would allow J.I.D to play live drums, while also incorporating electronic elements and samples.
