KKmoon is a popular brand for budget-friendly security DVRs (Digital Video Recorders). While these devices offer good value, updating their firmware can be a tricky process. Unlike major brands like Hikvision or Dahua, KKmoon often rebrands generic hardware from various Chinese manufacturers (e.g., “XVR,” “H.265,” or “Hi3536” chipsets). Therefore, updating the wrong firmware can permanently brick your device.
