Mumbai / Los Angeles – In a bold departure from conventional whodunits, streaming platform Triflicks has unveiled its latest original film, Murder -2023- . Directed by emerging auteur Reyansh Nair , the film refuses to be just another crime thriller. Instead, it blends a fractured timeline, moral ambiguity, and a terrifyingly plausible vision of digital-age violence. The Plot: One Year. One Killing. Infinite Versions. The title’s dash and year are intentional. Murder -2023- opens not with a body, but with a date: December 31, 2023, 11:59 PM . As the new year’s countdown plays on a dozen screens inside a Mumbai high-rise, three strangers realize they each remember the same murder—but with different victims, different weapons, and different killers.
But the film’s secret weapon is as The Archivist —a mysterious figure who appears in every timeline, never speaking, only typing. His final line, whispered directly to camera, has already become a spoiler-guarded phenomenon. Technical Mastery Cinematographer Hélène Durand (known for Nightfall in Goa ) shoots the 2023 segments in cold, sterile digital 8K, while the “memory” sequences flicker like damaged celluloid. The sound design by Oscar nominee Faizan Ali uses binaural recording so intimately that viewers reported “hearing footsteps behind them” during test screenings. Controversy and Censorship Notes Murder -2023- has already drawn scrutiny from two national censor boards for its “unreliable witness” narrative device , which some argue could influence real jury trials. Triflicks responded by adding a short disclaimer before the film: “This is fiction. Memory is the real murderer.” Release Strategy The film premieres November 17, 2023 exclusively on Triflicks. However, in an unprecedented move, three different versions will be available—each with a different ending. Viewers are encouraged to watch all three and “decide which murder is real.” Early Verdict (Variety): “ Murder -2023- doesn’t just break the fourth wall. It turns the crime genre into a hall of mirrors and dares you to find the exit. Messy, brilliant, and unforgettable.” Triflicks Original Murder -2023- | 2h 11m | Hindi, English, Korean (dubbed) | 16+ Tagline: Some killings don’t end. They just change dates. This is a game that can be played by one or two players or teams. It involves skill, timing and the ability to mentally add and subtract numbers. Players take it in turns to throw three darts at the board. The scores are then added and finally subtracted from the game total. The first person to reduce their game total to zero is the winner. The red circle at the centre of the board is called the bull's eye. You score 50 for getting a dart to land in this circle. Around that is a slightly larger circle which scores 25. Their are two thin rings on the board for which the sector score is either doubled or trebled. Double means multiply by two. Treble means multiply by three. The options below are only available to Transum subscribers. Solutions to puzzles, exercises and activities are also available when you are signed in to your Transum subscription account. If you do not yet have an account and you are a teacher or parent you can apply for one here. A Transum subscription also gives you access to the 'Class Admin' student management system and opens up ad-free access to the Transum website for you and your pupils. Number of seconds per turn: Game total for each player: Must get exactly zero to finish International darts rules also require you to finish with a double but it has been decided that that would be too difficult for this game. |

Playing a game requiring some mental arithmetic is much more fun that working through a traditional exercise. There are many other games on the Transum website requiring players to practise their numeracy skills. Have a look at the Mental Methods topic page. |
